Each year our distinguished faculty as well as invited guests present a robust series of conferences largely available for CME credit. These conferences cover a wide range of topics including the genetics of sleep, treatments of various disorders, cutting-edge research, and complex clinical cases.

The 29th Annual Advances in Diagnosis and Treatment of Sleep Apnea and Snoring Conference

A conference sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California, the 29th Annual Advances in Diagnosis and Treatment of Sleep Apnea and Snoring conference was held 2/16-2/17/24 in San Francisco. The 2024 program focused on current and evolving Obstructive Sleep Apnea diagnostic and therapeutic topics. This continuing medical education activity is intended for the physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and nurse in Sleep Medicine, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Pulmonary Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dentistry, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Anesthesia, and Geriatrics. Sleep respiratory therapy technologists will also find practical value by attending this program.   

Enduring CME

In the past, free on-demand, online sleep medicine courses (Current Topics in Sleep Medicine) were offered for physicians, nurses, technologists, researchers, and others interested in sleep medicine. It was developed in collaboration with the CME Office at the University of Pennsylvania and was hosted on their website. The program curriculum was developed by Dr. Ilene Rosen and all lectures were prepared by faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. At this time, the program is not currently available but past courses may be viewed (without CME credit).
