Directions to Jordan Medical Education Center (JMEC)

interior of JMEC, a contemporary style building The Jordan Medical Education Center is located at 3400 Civic Center Boulevard and is adjacent to (behind) the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM). Penn Med parking garages have limited availability for patients and visitors, for a fee. There is metered street parking in the area as well.

From PCAM Main Entrance on 34^th and Civic Center Boulevard: Take the steps or escalator to the first floor, enter the South Pavilion and continue down the hall until you get to the B elevators (yellow colored walls) just before Mohs Dermatology Surgery department. Take a B elevator to the 6th floor (C elevators do NOT go to the 6^th floor.) As you exit the elevator, go through the double doors closest to you (which look out over the 5th-floor atrium) and then immediately go through the door to your left “Center for Student Life”. Have a seat on the gray couches.

From University City Train Station: Cross the street and walk around to the front of PCAM. Follow the directions above.

Penn Med at Rittenhouse is located in the former Graduate Hospital building on 18^th St. between South and Lombard. Sign in at the security desk (Simulation Center, 2^nd floor). Proceed to the 2^nd floor, go through the two sets of double doors, and follow the signs to the appropriate meeting area.

Route 76 East: Take the South St. exit and turn right onto South St.

From 76 West: Take the South St. exit and turn left onto South St.

From Suburban Station: Come out of Suburban Station at 16^th St. and JFK Blvd. Walk east one block to 15^th St. and JFK. You will cross 15^th St. and go to the Bus Stop on JFK Blvd. Wait for the 17 bus. The 17 will take you to 19^th and Lombard St. Walk one block to 18^th St. and you will be at Penn Med at Rittenhouse. Use the entrance at 18^th and Lombard. Go to www.septa.com for train and bus schedules.
