26 Description of Research
221 As part of a long-standing collaboration with Dr. Celeste Simon, I generate mouse models in which genes encoding critical components of the hypoxic response pathway are mutated. These and related genetic and cell biological tools offer insights into physiological and metabolic responses to hypoxia and other tumor microenvironmental stresses. Previously, I also collaborated with Dr. Carl June on adapting CAR-T cell therapy to solid tumors, focusing on the effects of the tumor microenvironment on CAR-T cell metabolism and function.
