Tara Drames, Psy.D.

Licensed psychologist

Dr. Drames has over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. She completed her academic studies at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she received both master's and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Drames completed an APA-accredited internship as well as a post-doctoral fellowship at a community mental health center in Philadelphia. She subsequently held leadership roles as a supervising psychologist and clinical outpatient administrator for the agency. Additionally, Dr. Drames has served as an adjunct instructor at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Dr. Drames has extensive training and clinical experience in delivering cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) interventions. She is currently completing a certification track to become a certified perinatal mental health specialist. Her clinical interests include mood/anxiety disorders, perinatal mental health disorders (pregnancy and postpartum), complex trauma and life transitions.
