Bio statement

Ph.D. in Medical Sciences student and Ophthalmology Resident at the University of Chile. I was a student assistant in Surgery for 4 years under the tutorship of Dr. Stefan Danilla. Along with Dr. Marlene Vogel, I conducted studies on thyroid eye disease at the University of Chile’s Clinical Hospital. Currently, I am a basic and clinical researcher at the Laboratory of Ocular and Systemic Autoimmune Diseases, whose principal investigator is Dr. Cristhian Urzúa. In this laboratory, I have focused on uveitis biomarkers and artificial intelligence for AMD screening. I have presented this research at national and international high-impact congresses and journals.
