Bio statement
Dr. Mayne joins VinUni as the director of admissions for the MD program, co-chair of the 4th year medical student class, and as an instructor for the Internal Medicine residency program. As part of the VinUni-UPenn alliance, he is involved in curriculum development at the undergraduate level.
Dr. Mayne graduated from New York University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. Following residency, he was a clinical instructor at UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles. His experience is in hospital medicine and in medical education. He has previously worked internationally in Guatemala.
Recent global health projects
As part of the VinUniversity-UPenn alliance, Dr. Mayne is the director of admissions for the MD program at VinUniversity in Hanoi, Vietnam, co-chair of the 4th year medical student class, and an instructor for the Internal Medicine residency program. Included in these roles is the ongoing development of UME and GME curriculum.
