Bio statement

A dedicated and experienced university Professor with over twenty years of experience as a teaching faculty in Human Anatomy for undergraduate and postgraduate students including supervision of undergraduate student research in the College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity, Vietnam, School of Dental Sciences, University Sains Malaysia, and Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. My research interests are Physical anthropology, Human evolution, Forensic anthropology, and Human anatomy. An author of three books, two book chapters and over 35 journal publications in peer-reviewed journals, delivered over 5 prestigious orations and guest lectures.

1. Sarawak Early Prehistoric Project (SEPP) with Australia Research Council, Center of Excellence for Australian Biodiversity and Heritage, University of New South Wales, Australia and Sarawak Museum Department, Malaysia.


2. Reconstructing prehistoric human diet using stable isotope, palaeoproteomics and chemical analysis of human and faunal skeletal remains recovered from Pallemalala shell midden, Sri Lanka.
