Application Development

PMACS's team of software developers and designers develop custom applications and web sites, in collaboration with our partners across the Perelman School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania Health System. We have developed and provide support for a portfolio of over 200 custom applications, supporting the administrative, research, educational, and patient care missions of Penn Medicine.

We develop software by working closely with our partners in a collaborative development methodology known as agile software development. A client’s primary point of contact will be an assigned Product Owner (similar to a project manager) who will gather requirements, prioritize work, and address issues, and work with our various teams of developers to design, build, test, and deliver custom software solutions.
