Chuck Haughton is a seasoned leader in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as Director of the Office of Organization Effectiveness at the Perelman School of Medicine. Since 2006, he has led initiatives in leadership development and organizational consulting as an instructional designer, classroom instructor, management coach, internal consultant, and project manager. His interests are focused on advancing human capital through evidence-based practices and innovative learning strategies.
Prior to his tenure at Penn, Chuck founded High Potential Resources, Inc., where he provided executive coaching and organizational development services to healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, including GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca. His earlier roles include Corporate Director of Training & Organization Development at Kennedy Health System and Human Resources Consultant at Thomas Jefferson University.
Charles holds a Master of Behavioral and Decision Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from The American University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Data Processing & Analysis from The University of Texas. He is a certified practitioner in Prosci® Change Management and is a Crucial Conversations Certified Facilitator.
Chuck aspires to be a good golfer someday and enjoys audiobooks, traveling, movies, and spending time with his wife and family.

Patrizia (“Patty”) Salani Platt is the Associate Director of Leadership & Professional Development at the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM), where she leads initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, and career mobility across the school. Within the Office of Organization Effectiveness, she oversees the Leadership Essentials portfolio, manages large-scale consulting and people analytics projects, and collaborates with senior leaders to align development programs with PSOM’s strategic goals.
With expertise in organizational psychology, adult learning, and workforce development, Patty designs and delivers programs that combine research-based insights with practical tools to help leaders and teams thrive. Her work integrates strategy, analytics, and human development to enhance performance and engagement across PSOM. She holds the SHRM-SCP certification and earned her M.S.Ed. in Interdisciplinary Human Development from the University of Pennsylvania.
Patty is passionate about empowering others to lead with purpose, curiosity, and empathy. Outside of work, she enjoys creating pottery, exploring the arts, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Jenny Seng-Russo is a Leadership Development Specialist at the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM), where she brings over a decade of experience in cultivating leadership through thoughtfully designed programs, engaging facilitation, and strategic learning experiences. Within the Office of Organizational Effectiveness, she serves as the lead facilitator for the Leadership Essentials: Fundamentals program, guiding staff and faculty in developing leadership capacity, fostering collaboration, and advancing within the organization. She also co-facilitates the Leadership Essentials: Intensive program, supporting a diverse cohort of emerging leaders across the school.
Jenny’s expertise spans curriculum design, program development, facilitation, coaching, and project and program management. She is skilled in creating structured learning experiences that foster collaboration, promote dialogue, and align with organizational goals. Her approach emphasizes clarity, reflection, and real-world application, helping individuals and teams build a clear line of sight toward their professional growth.
At work, Jenny is energized by teaching, coaching emerging leaders, and creating spaces for meaningful learning and connection. She is a certified facilitator in Korn Ferry Leadership Architect and Crucial Conversations, and holds the SHRM-SCP credential. She earned dual master’s degrees in Education and Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, along with certificates in Organizational Culture & Change and Organizational Communication Strategies.
Outside of work, Jenny finds joy in raising her two daughters, exploring new places, and savoring good food.

Margot Morales is a Leadership Development Specialist at the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM) with over 10 years of expertise in designing, delivering, and facilitating customized training programs. Within the Office of Organization Effectiveness, she serves as lead facilitator for the Leadership Essentials Advanced Program and professional development catalogue, guiding participants through learning experiences that build leadership capability, strengthen collaboration, and enhance performance.
Margot has extensive experience in performance management and employee engagement, with skills in scoping and structuring learning needs, identifying gaps, and implementing solutions that align with organizational strategy. Her background includes instructional design, marketing, coaching, program management, and developing engaging materials that uphold organizational values. She is certified in Crucial Conversations, Crucial Influence, ATD Virtual Training & Facilitation, and career coaching, and is a member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
Her facilitative leadership style fosters inclusion, growth, and collaboration, while her learning approach emphasizes dialogue, shared problem-solving, and real-world application. Her leadership style is facilitative and empowering, fostering inclusion and continuous growth.
A former classroom teacher with teaching licenses in Pennsylvania and South Carolina, Margot earned both her Bachelor’s and Master of Education from Temple University and pursued additional studies at UC San Diego in instructional design, educational technology, and social-emotional learning. Outside of work, she enjoys family, traveling, the beach, and running.
